Jade Community Acupuncture is seeking a community acupuncture practitioner to join our high volume, low-cost community acupuncture clinic.



Winona, MN is a beautiful town of 30,000 with 2 universities and one technical college. It has two large beautiful lakes, the bluffs, and borders the river. The office is about 5 min from WI. Winona is also only 30min from La Crosse (city of 55,000) and about 1 hour away from Rochester, MN. It's a beautiful town with the culture of the universities and easy access to city amenities (La Crosse airport). Cost of living is low. Quality of Life is high.



We are a small community acupuncture clinic (7 recliners) that offers all treatments in a group setting with a sliding fee scale of $15-$35. We are a social business. Our focus is not on profits but rather on our mission is to make acupuncture affordable and accessible to people. We are passionate and committed to our mission and seeking someone who can share in this mission.



Qualifications:
- Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Minnesota.
- Desire to treat large amount of patients (6 patients in one hour).
- Ability to be trained in Community Acupuncture Techniques.
- Ability to focus on acupuncture over modalities that do not work in a high volume clinic (e.g.cupping, tuina).
- Desire to be involved and invested in the growth of the clinic.
- Ability to attract and retain sufficient regular patients to fill assigned shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phones, booking appointments, documenting patient files, handling payment transactions and other general administrative duties.
- Treating patients in community-style clinic in recliners (or tables) in high volume sliding scale setting.
- Greeting patients, diagnosing and devising treatment plans.
- Marketing, Attracting patients, Devise your own marketing idea and follow through
- Other duties as mutually agreed upon.
Compensation and Benefits:
This will initially be a part-time hourly position starting with three shifts per week. Each shift is composed of 4 hours of clinic time and compensation will be $17 an hour. We are seeking someone to work on 2 shifts on weekends (Sat/Sun) and one nighttime shift. This would allow the person to easily pursue part-time work elsewhere. If sufficient process is made (patient numbers) we plan to transition to a more full time position.
